Description
English: Roxie Theatre at he corner of 12th Ave and Broad Street.It was built in 1929 to house Lockhart Motors. The depression hit and the building was vacant for a while. It went on to house another dealership for a little while and then it was vacant until early 1935. It was renovated and became a combination movie and vaudeville house. In the fall of 1935 Isador Reinhorn took over ownership and operation of the Roxy. In June of 1966 Reinhorn leased the theatre to Odeon Morton Theatres. At that point it became the Odeon-Roxy theatre. On December 30th, 1977 the theatre burned down and was not rebuilt
