Summary edit

Description On the Cornhill side of the Royal Exchange building in the City of London. The present building, by William Tite, was completed in 1844; two previous versions having burned down. The coat of arms features Atlas at the top, with Britannia and Neptune either side of a shield he old Exchange that had burned in 1839 and the motto 'Service and Protection'.
