Summary

edit
Description The Hawaii Air National Guard's Royal Guard took part in a ceremony at Iolani Palace, November 16, 2017 commemorating the 1963 re-creation of the special unit. The Royal Guard is a unique Honor Guard where select airmen perform ceremonial duties at various events throughout the year, and stand as symbol and reminder of the HIANG's heritage and history. The ceremony also coincided with the birth day of King David Kalakaua, the "Merry Monarch".
