English: A Minnesota Air National Guard F-16A Fighting Falcon escorts Royal Jordanian 1, the aircraft of His Majesty King Hussein I, of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as it flies over Minnesota on its return to Amman, Jordan on Feb. 4, 1999. The Fighting Falcon is attached to the 148th Fighter Wing, Air National Guard, Duluth, Minnesota, USA. Hussein was returning to Jordan after an unsuccessful bone marrow transplant. He died 3 days later on 7 February 1999. |
