Description
English: Thus the election of Georg Wenström and Oscar Fredrik Wijkman to Carlsbröderna 1897 was caricated by Rudolf Gagge. It's a detail of a bigger aquarel. Wijkman, called Godfather, is hauled into the fraternity on a cart with cohwheels, symbolizing his Mechanical garage down in the Sigurdblock. He sits on buttercasks which he manufactured in his cask factory, which was situated in what is today the Asea square. At the top of the Aros flag there is, as ai ought to be, a green cuecumber. The principal of Allmänna Svenska Aktiebolaget, Georg Wenström, stoically walks into the Carlsbrödra fraternity with electricity radiating around his person. Above to the left the cornucopia, which is part of the emblem of the fraternity, is seen.
