Français : Panneau sur la rue Racine Est, à Chicoutimi, près de la rue du Séminaire, décrivant « des institutions régionales, 3,5 km » « Le développement rapide de Chicoutimi, autant sur le plan industriel que sur le plan commercial, amène bientôt à Chicoutimi une forte concentration d’institutions d’envergure régionale : l’évêché, le palais de justice, le séminaire et le collège classique, l’hôpital, les couvents, la prison confirment la vocation régionale de Chicoutimi. Plusieurs de ces institutions se sont concentrées au sein du quartier Est de Chicoutimi, sur les hauteurs de la ville.
