Summary edit

Description
English: Ruined medieval barn at St Leonard's Grange, Beaulieu, New Forest. This ruined barn at St Leonards was, when still intact, probably the largest barn in England. The external measurement was 64 x 21 metres and was divided into seven bays. It was part of the grange run by the lay brothers of the Cistercian monastery at Beaulieu, until the dissolution under Henry VIII. The gable ends survive, and are truly massive.
