Description
Polski: Ruiny późnobarokowego, zbudowanego w 1730 roku klasztoru warownego Karmelitów Bosych. Klasztor wzniesiono na wzgórzu Mariemont (345m n.p.m.) w miejscowości Zagórz w pow. Sanockim. Zabytek chroniony prawem od 1967 roku. Warto nadmienić, że jest to jeden z nielicznych zachowanych klasztorów warownych na terenie dawnej Rzeczypospolitej Obojga Narodów. Klasztor dwukrotnie uległ zniszczeniu w 1772r. za sprawą wojsk rosyjskich oraz w roku 1822 w takcie pożaru. Pomimo, że klasztor i jego wnętrze wystawiony jest na niesprzyjające warunki związane z temperaturą i opadami to na wewnętrznych ścianach widoczne są dobrze zachowane malunki. Oprócz samego klasztoru zachowały się ruiny otaczających go budynków gospodarczych. Z klasztorem związanych jest kilka legend między innymi o pokutującym mnichu przechadzającym się po murach klasztoru.
