Description
Deutsch: Die dreiläufige Treppe von Schloss Friedrichsfelde mit einem aus Eichenholz geschnitzten Geländer, deren Felder mit Wappenemblemen geziert sind, wurde 1719 von Martin Heinrich Böhme entworfen und zeigt im ornamentalen Detail den Einfluss von Andreas Schlüter, dessen Schüler und Gehilfe Böhme war. Markgraf Albrecht Friedrich von Brandenburg-Schwedt war der damalige Eigentümer. Nach mehrmaligem Besitzerwechsel beauftragte Prinz August Ferdinand von Preußen einen frühklassizistischen Umbau des Treppenhauses durch Carl von Gontard. Zur Ausführung ist es erst nach 1785 gekommen, nachdem August Ferdinand das Schloss an Herzog Peter von Kurland verkauft hatte. Die gemalten marmorierten Wandfelder - ursprünglich auf Leinwand ausgeführt - sowie die kannelierten Pilaster gehen auf Gontards Entwürfen zurück. Die Leinwandmalerei der Wände war nach 1945 noch erhalten gewesen, wurde aber 1947 entfernt und konnte daher nur nach kleinen Resten und nach Befunden wiederhergestellt werden.
