| Description | Some examples of early 20th Century bungalow/cottage-type houses can be found in Cincinnati's Clifton neighborhood. These humble abodes were commonly built in subdivisions in Cincinnati's outer neighborhoods and as infill in Cincinnati's inner neighborhoods during the period, as single-family housing for middle class families. Today, many of these houses remain in the urban fabric of the city, many as rental housing for people in lower income brackets, with some being renovated and restored by owners into functionally modern single-family homes. |
