  • Subjects (LCTGM): Orphanages--Washington (State)--Seattle; Group portraits--Washington (State)--Seattle
  • Subjects (LCSH): Ryther Home (Seattle, Wash.)

This was the former Pontius Mansion, home of realtor Albert M. Pontius and later just his wife Margaret after their acrimonious divorce in the mid 1890s: see https://web.archive.org/web/20150705031903/http://www.ryther.org/history-pontius-mansion/. However, that site says the Rythers acquired this building in 1905, so the 1904 date provided by the University of Washington Library seems unlikely.
