Description Lemmas are 3.5-4 mm long (excluding lobes), 2-lobed and 1-awned, with distinct rows of hairs on the back and auricles on the outer margins of the lateral lobes; awn is somewhat twisted, often brown near the base and slightly longer than the lobes. This sample is immature and the hairs have not spread or the awns developed colour.
