Summary edit
DescriptionSão Paulo Marcopolo-Volvo trolleybus 1949 in 2009.jpg | Trolleybus 1949, of the SPTrans system in São Paulo, Brazil, was a high-floor vehicle built in 1997 by Marcopolo SA (model "Torino GV"), on a Volvo chassis. In this photo, it was in service on route 4113-10. The 4 before the fleet number is a prefix indicating the zone of the city that encompasses one group of transit routes, operated by one company, under a concession from SPTrans. Currently, all SPTrans trolleybus operation is in zone 4, but two other zones had trolleybus service (with different operating companies) under SPTrans in the past. The last high-floor trolleybuses on the SPTrans system were retired in September 2013. |
