English: 1913 S.G.V. Company ad. The Indianapolis based company announced their new push-button gear shift changer than worked when the clutch was operated, much like the later pre-selector drive. This item was developped by the Vulcan Motor Devices Co., and S.G.V. was first on the market with it.
