Deutsch: Beim Wendehalt in Bellegarde, die Bem 550 sind angepasste Nachbauten der Stadtbahnwagen Typ B, die SBB beschafften 1994 fünf Doppeltriebwagen für die mit 1,5 kV elektrifizierte Strecke Genf–La Plaine–Bellegarde. Auf dem französischen Abschnitt La Plaine–Bellegarde ist der Takt zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt deutlich weniger dicht als im schweizer. Ausgemustert wurden die Wagen im Sommer 2014 mit der Umstellung des Grenzstreckenabschnittes auf 25 kV. Weil sich bei den Preisvorstellungen der SBB ken Käufer fand, wurden sie nach nur wenigen Abstellwochen noch 2014 zerlegt. Die schwarzen Stoßbalken sind ein Aufstoßschutz für Fahrzeuge mit Seitenpuffern. |
