Description |
Die Ce 6/8 II ist in der Schweiz bekannt unter dem Übernahmen "Krokodil". Es handelt sich um eine Elektrolokomotive , die hauptsächlich auf der Gotthardbahn vor Güterzügen verwendet wurde und bis in die achtziger Jahre im Betrieb war. Zum Spitznamen dürfte die Lokomotive durch ihre Dreiteilung in "Schnauze", "Körper" und "Schwanz" gekommen sein und ihre rotierenden Bewegungen der Kuppelstanden, die an den Gang eines Krokodils erinnern. |
