Deutsch: SBV Hercynia zu Heidelberg Wappen.
Das Wappen umfasst die folgenden Elemente mit sprechender bzw. freimaurerisch beeinflusster Symbolik: - in Gold auf blauem Grund sieben sechszackige Sterne (Streben nach Vervollkommnung) - die Farben Schwarz-Weiß-Rot (ursprünglich Schwarz-Grün-Gold der Göttinger Hercynia, 1914 in einem Ausbruch übersteigerter nationaler Begeisterung mit den damaligen Reichsfarben übermalt - über die Wiederherstellung des ursprünglichen Schwarz-Grün-Gold wird zur Zeit diskutiert) - eine Tanne (Anspielung auf den Namen) bzw. ein Lebensbaum - in einer Uroborusschlange zwei ineinandergelegte Hände (Symbole der Freundschaft und des Lebensbundes) - mit einem aufwärtsgerichteten Pfeil hinterlegt die Verbindungsfarben Blau-Rot-Gold Sterne, Händedruck und Baum stehen zugleich nach Art eines Rebus für den Wahlspruch. |
