English: It goes without saying, water is life. This adage is taken for granted. In a small town in the Volta Region, in Ghana, the lack of access to clean and safe water proves detrimental to their livelihood. The human as well as the aquatic populace all suffer from this catastrophe. It is ironic that a place surrounded by water cannot depend on this resource to survive. As is usually the case, any form of aid to wipe out the problem is on the expensive side. Nonetheless, the people of this small town manage to maintain a smile on their faces, with just access to a cup of clean water. Surely, there should be a way to solve this problem once and for all to maintain their smiles.
