English: Schlag nach! German language universal lexicon (comprehensive reference work) and Nazi almanac for the year 1939. 703 pages of facts relating to Germany & the world, including 12 colour plates showing the flags of Nazi Germany, collar rank insignia of the Nazi Party, flags of the world, aircraft nationality emblems of the world, road signs, Signal flags & the new International signal system.
Tunic collars, collar tabs and visor caps were lined with coloured piping (German: Kragen- und Mützenpassepoil, Paspel, Paspelierung, Passepoil) to denote membership in the particular Nazi Party level. The collar patch itself was also coloured according to structural level.
    • Reichsleitung – National level (German nation) ; Rank tab color: dark red; Piping: golden yellow
    • Gauleitung – Regional level (German states and their provinces); Rank tab color: orange; Piping: dark red
    • Kreisleitung – District level (German counties); Rank tab color: dark brown; Piping: black (later white)
    • Ortsgruppeleitung – Local level (German towns and cities); Rank tab color: light yellow; Piping: light blue
