| Description |
The Kopriva Family is the 2012 winner of the South Dakota Leopold Conservation Award. They have implemented conservation over many years and now they are seeing results with better organic matter in their no-till fields, better forage production in their pastures along iwth a much healthier plant community, i.e., few weeds. Many partners in South Dakota sponsor the state award. A video tour of their operation can be found at www.youtube.com/user/NRCSSouthDakota.
