Description
العربية: في عام 1994 بدأت الجمعية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة بمشاركة دولية من مرفق البيئة الدولي بعملية إنقاذ للواحة بهدف رفع نسبة المياه المستنزفة 10 % وتوقيع اتفاقية مع وزارة المياه والري لتزويد المحمية بـ 1.5ــ2.5 مليون م3 من مياه حوض الأزرق الجوفي سنويآ إعادة تأهيل المواطن الطبيعية في المحمية وأسفرت بنجاح في استعادة جزء مهم من الأراضي الرطبة لكن لم يتم الوصول للنسبة المرادة بسبب الضخ المستمر للمياه من حوض الأزرق وقلة الأفراد الخبراء و المتخصصين بمجال إدارة الأراضي الرطبة و بفضل جهود الجمعية الملكية لحماية الطبيعة بدأت العديد من الطيور بالعودة إلى المحمية.
