Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, visit the Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial during a ceremony, Dec. 16, 2019. The visit was part of a U.S. delegation tour of the region during the 75th commemoration and anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. The cemetery, containing 5,073 American war dead, covers 50.5 acres (20.4 ha) and was dedicated in 1960. It is administered by the American Battle Monuments Commission.
