Description A U.S. Navy Sikorsky SH-3A Sea King (BuNo 149698) of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 6 (HS-6) "Indians" delivers mail to an Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer, in the mid- to late 1960s. HS-6 was assigned to Carrier Anti-Submarine Air Group 53 (CVSG-53) abaord the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge (CVS-33), visible in the background. Note the dark paint of the helicopter, used for search-and-rescue operations in Vietnam.
