English: Members of the Wideband Global SATCOM (WGS)-10 mission Launch Team participated in a Mission Dress Rehearsal March 11 inside the Delta Operations Center at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. During this time, the launch team performed communication checks and configured the Launch Control Center for the upcoming WGS-10 launch.
Space and Missile Systems Center and its mission partners, including 45th Space Wing, United Launch Alliance (ULA), Boeing, and Aerospace Corporation are responsible for the launch of the WGS-10 spacecraft atop a Delta IV rocket. This geostationary satellite will provide communication capabilities for the United States military and its allies. The launch window opens March 15 at 6:56 p.m. EDT. |
