English: Piaparan A Bakas or smoked yellow fin tuna is a dish from the province of Lanao. This smoked fish is also sold on the streets of Muslim town ni Quiapo Manila. Bakas can be eaten as it is because it is already cooked and can be paired with soy sauce, chili and palapa. The smoke cooking technique was passed down from their ancestor's knowledge of food preservation since refrigeration is not yet available that time. This traditional food is still enjoyed by many people nowadays.
