English: THIS RANCH WAS BUILT IN 1881 BY STEPHEN JONES BUT WAS SOLD IN 1888. HE USED IT FOR CATTLE GRAZING BECAUSE THE TALLGRASS PROVIDES EXCELLENT FOOD FOR CATTLE AND IS STILL BEING SO USED TODAY. IT IS PART OF THE TALLGRASS NATIONAL PRESERVE - A UNIT IN THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE
