Description	Nederlands: Spijkenisse, luchtfoto van de inundatie. In de uiterste rechter bovenhoek stroomt de Oude Maas. Iets boven het midden rechts is nog net een stukje van de Spijkenisserbrug te zien. Vandaar loopt horizontaal naar links de Groene Kruisweg. Pal onder de Spijkenisserbrug en schuin parallel aan de Groene Kruisweg loopt de haven tot in het dorp Spijkenisse, dat iets onder het midden centraal op de foto ligt. Het donkere gebied in het onderste gedeelte op de foto was sinds februari 1944 door de Duitsers onder water gezet. Door een nooddijk bleef het dorp zelf voor inundatie gespaard.
