Description At the far end of a one-lane dirt road that is normally open to pedestrians visiting Lake Chaxa, there is a weather station. Most visitors did not bother to walk all the way out to this point. It is part of a monitoring system in the area Burro Muerto of the Salar de Atacama, belonging to the mining company SQM Salar S.A.
