Summary edit

Description

Savannah River Remediation (SRR) is helping Aiken Technical College’s new nuclear quality control program by providing $10,000 for curriculum development.

Earlier this year, Aiken Technical College (ATC) received a DOE grant to develop and implement specialization certificates in quality control and nuclear welding.

Dr. Susan Winsor, president of ATC, said she was gratified to receive the funding and knows that it will ultimately provide a return on investment by providing high-quality workers to companies in the nuclear industry such as SRR.
