English: Falls on the Saxtons River in Saxtons River village, looking upriver at the Westminster Rd bridge. The ruins of Frey's Mill are just to the right in this image. there was a dam here to provide water for it. There were two additional dams in the village to provide power for other mills, one upriver (which provided water power for Tenney's Mill, partly visible in the upper left) and one downriver of these falls (near Maple Street). |
