English: This painting shows the Jane Ann of Fowey and the SS Newbiggin alongside. Also seen is W. Roach's carrier carts and office signage painted from the site of the railway turntable. The SS Newbiggin (902grt/1883), while steaming in fog at full speed collided with and sank the SS City of Rotterdam near the Eddystone light in June 1900 bringing survivors back to Plymouth.
