- a) 1882/1888/1899; Watermark: Switzerland No. 1 ("cross-in-oval type 1"); perforation: L 9½ or K 9½ (1888) or other (1882/1899), recess printing;
- background of Helvetia with vertical and horizontal lines, normal white paper (Michel No. 67)
- b) 1891; Watermark Switzerland No. 1 ("cross-in-oval type 2"); perforation: K 11½ : 11; recess printing;
- background of Helvetia with vertical and horizontal lines; normal white paper (Michel No. 67DI)
- c) 1901; Watermark: Switzerland No. 1 ("cross-in-oval type 1"); perforation: K 11½ : 12; recess printing;
- background of Helvetia with vertical and horizontal lines; normal white paper (Michel No. 67DII)
- d) 1905; Watermark Switzerland No. 2 (multiple Swiss crosses without oval); perforation: K 11½ : 12; recess printing;
- background of Helvetia with vertical and horizontal lines; the character "A" of the right word "FRANCO" is inclined to right (= old print plate); normal white paper (Michel No. 75CI)
- e) 1905; Watermark Switzerland No. 2 (multiple Swiss crosses without oval); perforation: K 11½ : 12; recess printing;
