Description	Nederlands: De sabel heeft vader, die bij de cavallerie was, gekregen van een officier. Sabel is gemaakt door de fa. Weyersberg Kinschbaum & Co uit Solingen. Inscriptie in heft sabel staat ook het kenmerk van de firma: WH&C Het is een officierssabel. Een siersabel wat niet gebruikt werd, alleen bij gala uniformen gedragen. Dit is te zien aan de 2 ringen lange kant. Normaal zit er maar 1 ring aan. Het handvat is normaliter rond. Bij deze sabel niet. Er wordt nagegaan waarom dit handvat afwijkt en wat het kan betekenen. Vader was gelegerd in Amersfoort.
