Español: Figura 1. Micrografías electrónicas de barrido que muestran diferentes etapas embriológicas tempranas de Saccoglossus kowalevskii. A) La blástula de 8 horas después de la fertilización (h pf) muestra una depresión prominente en el polo vegetal (vp). El recuadro muestra blastómeros con mayor aumento (alta magnitud). Las constricciones parciales demuestran una escisión continua (punta de flecha). B) La gátrula aplanada (24 h pf) muestra la invaginación del archenterón en la región del blastoporo (bp). Recuadro: se desarrolla un solo cilio (ci) en la superficie de cada célula. C) Alrededor de las 30 hs se completa la gastrulación. Los embriones presentan una forma alargada.
