SASEBO, Japan (Jan. 24, 2013) Sailors assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) handle mooring lines as the ship gets underway in preparation for amphibious integration training (AIT), certification exercise (CERTEX), and the annual multinational joint training exercise Cobra Gold. The Bonhomme Richard forward-deployed amphibious ready group is currently operating in the U.S. 7th fleet area of operations.
