The large building at left is John Murphy's department store, bought by Robert Simpson Co. in 1905. It was demolished in 1929 and a new 10-storey Simpsons building erected. It is now the home of La Maison Simons.

Le gros immeuble sur la gauche est le grand magasin John Murphy, acheté par Robert Simpson Co. en 1905. Il fut démoli en 1929 et remplacé par un nouveau magasin Simpson de dix étages. L'édifice est maintenant occupé par La Maison Simons.
