Summary edit

Description

Interior of the former church of St Mark, Low Moor, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, which was designed by Mallinson and Healey, and completed in 1857. Pulpit, still in situ, carved by Catherine Mawer. Flash photograph taken in pitch dark. At the extreme right-hand end of the leaf frieze is a hidden siren, an amphibian of the sirenidae family, which has only two legs. In the past, it was considered by some to be lucky if you see a siren.

Note: there is no public access to the interior of this building.
