Français : La rue Pierre et Paul Boury tués lors du combat du 16 juillet 1944et l'église Sainte-Sévère (XIXe siècle). L'église Sainte-Sévère, fut détruite en 1794, et l'église Saint-Martin, ancienne chapelle castrale, lui succéda comme lieu de culte jusqu'à sa destruction en 1876. Édifiée par l'architecte bourbonnais Jean-Bélisaire Moreau, elle reprend le sobre style roman bourguignon. De vastes dimensions, elle comporte une nef voûtée flanquée de collatéraux.
Il a été l'inspecteur des travaux de restauration de l'église de Saint-Aignan (1852). En mai 1854, il est inspecteur des travaux d'agrandissement de la cathédrale de Moulins aux appointements de 1 200 fr. (environ 5 000 euro) portés à 1 500 fr. le 3 mars 1856, à 2 000 fr. le 17 février 1860 et à 2 400 fr. le 13 septembre 1861. J-B Moreau acquit une belle renommée dans tout le centre de la France. Il restaura plusieurs châteaux, Il est nommé le 7 novembre 1879 inspecteur des travaux diocésains de Moulins aux appointements de 1 200 fr. et présida ainsi jusqu'à la fin de sa vie à la construction de trente-huit églises. Il était chevalier de l'Ordre de Saint Grégoire-le-Grand (décoration donnée par le Saint Siège; Lyautey était Grand-croix; actuellement, l'homme d'affaires états-unien Rupert Murdoch l'est également. L'écrivain, conseiller de l'ex-président Sarkozy, Patrick Buison, l'animateur de télévision Patrick de Carolis, l'homme politique français Jean-Claude Gaudin, sont commandeurs de l'Ordre). |
