Português: Em 1977, em obras feitas no lado sul da Av. da Imaculada Conceição, junto as antigas oficinas da Livraria Cruz foram recolhidas, por um privado, duas peças de grande valor: uma cabeça de guerreiro e uma estátua sedente masculina. A personagem masculina (o falus é evidente) está sentada numa cadeira cujos apoios dianteiros representam cascos de cavalo. A mão direita, encosta ao peito num gesto certamente ritual. A esquerda segura um vaso. Pela dimensão (altura 77 cm; largura maxima lateral 40,5 cm; largura maxima frontal: 43 ,5 cm; base: 50 cm) é pouco provável que se inserisse num contexto doméstico. Impressiona a pose majestática, na linha dos guerreiros galaicos, a solidez e o apurado trabalho em granito fino. Provavelmente estava colocada sobre um pedestal num templo. Apesar de esculpida em granito, esta estátua filia-se nos modelos ibéricos, sendo especialmente elucidativo não só o modo como a personagem esta adossada ao "trono", como também os pés dianteiros do assento, representando as extremidades de um animal , neste caso o cavalo.
