Description
Español: Hernán Ruiz II proyecta la Sala Capilar para el cabildo catedralicio hispalense (1561-1563). Obra capital en la arquitectura renacentista española. Demostración de la alta formación profesional de Hernán Ruiz el Joven, con la primera planta elíptica en España, que cumple fielmente las condiciones funcionales del cabildo, en cuanto a visibilidad y acústica. Asensio de Maeda la cierra en 1592. El canónigo Francisco Pacheco establece el coherente programa teológico e importantes artistas del momento sevillano, completan la admirable obra.
