| Description |
English: Sally Lunn's house, North Parade Passage Originally built in 1482 or thereabouts, the exterior was updated much more recently, but the interior still shows many features of its earlier years, and it's thought to be the oldest surviving house (as opposed to the other historic buildings). The site appears to have been occupied for the best part of 2000 years, given that Roman foundations have been found in the cellars. A full history is to be found at www.sallylunns.co.uk |
