Español: Las chicatanas son unas hormigas que en los meses de mayo y junio salen de sus hormigueros iniciando la temporada de aguas, se consumen principalmente en la región de la Mixteca y Sierra Sur en el estado de Oaxaca, se tuestan con sal, ajo y chile griollo; en el molcajete primero se muele el chile con ajo y posyeriormente se incorporan las chicatanas para molerlas. |
