Summary edit

Description

Another one mixed up in the mayhem of the front garden. It seems very happy though, coming up among the roses, Calamentha nepeta (a lovely aromatic herb, much loved by bees and other insects), Geraniums and other stuff.

Amber is a hybrid involving one of the central Asian species and the wonderfully named (but less attractive) Jupiter's Distaff - Salvia glutinosa. It makes a large rosette of crinkly green leaves on the ground that sprout these arching flowering stems up to 4ft high in summer.
