| Description | Die Holzskulptur "Salzgöttin" ist der Beitrag des syrischen Bildhauers Ibrahim Alawad beim 9. Bildhauersymposium im Jahr 2020 in Bad Salzungen. Die Skulptur befindet sich im Rathenaupark, in der Nähe vom Bootsverleih. Nach Meinung des Künstlers bildet das Salz für die Menschheit eine unverzichtbare Quelle des Lebens. In alten Kulturen opferte man auch Salz, um die Götter gnädig zu stimmen. |
