Description
English: The Sama Chakeva Festival is a popular cultural festival celebrated by the Mithila community in the Indian states of Bihar and Nepal. It is celebrated in the month of Kartik (October-November) and lasts for four days. During the festival, the sisters invite their brothers to their homes and make special arrangements for their stay. The festival celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters and is a way for them to strengthen their relationship.
