La flèche bleue indique la direction que les abeilles parasitées par Apocephalus borealis prennent quand elles volent de nuit, attirées par la lumière. B: Abeilles bloquées sur le luminaire où elles ont été attirées par la lumière. C: Abeilles mortes ou paralysées (attirées par la lampe la nuit précédente), Apocephalus borealis est un moucheron parasitoïde récemment détecté en Amérique du Nord comme étant capable de parasiter les abeilles domestiques, alors qu'il n'était réputé pondre ses oeufs que dans les bourdons et frelons.
