Description
Deutsch: 1844 wurde in Gleisweiler die erste Kaltwasserheilanstalt Deutschlands von Dr. Ludwig Schneider eröffnet. Die Klinik war ein Privatunternehmen des Arztes, der das Haus mehr als dreißig Jahre lang leitete. Das schlossartige klassizistische Klinikgebäude wurde nach Plänen des königlich-bayerischen Hofbaumeisters Leo von Klenze errichtet. Eine Besonderheit war die Walddusche, die auch heute wieder für Kuranwendungen genutzt wird. (Wikipedia)
