Description
English: Sand Pit Covert Marshes, Blythburgh, Suffolk. Viewed from the A12, looking S towards Blythburgh. This is an area of mudflats that are uncovered at low tide. There is evidence that these marshes were once kept drained, as there are several old gate posts and the lines of drainage dykes across the area.
