Sander vitreus (Mitchill, 1818) - dead yellow walleye on Kelleys Island, Lake Erie, Ohio, USA.

Walleyes are members of the perch family. They occur in freshwater environments in northern America and much of Canada.

Locality: sand-gravel beach, southern shoreline of Kelleys Island, western Lake Erie, Ohio, USA (~~vicinity of 41° 36' 33.79" North latitude, 82° 42' 22.85" West longitude)
