English: Sandringham Gardens, Preston Motorists who have followed Preston Down Road from Marldon through a rather dull suburban area high on the hills surrounding Torbay, suddenly get an astonishing view as they complete the double bend onto Sandringham Gardens. The road drops steeply towards Preston, overlooking most of Torbay as it does so. In this view is the wooded Round Hill above Hollicombe, with the Imperial Hotel and part of the Torquay coastline beyond it. |
